Around the lunch table in a cluttered, child-colonized Seattle home.
Madeline: (confused, curious) Mom, are people real?
Christina: (both bemused and amused by the subject at hand) Yeah. People are real. We're people.
Olivia: (stridently, with authority) Yeah. And we're made of MEAT.
